Plane crashes have become a routine in India now as Deputy Chief Minister of India’s western state of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, died when his aircraft turned into a fireball.

The charter aircraft of Ajit Pawar crashed with videos showing smoke rising from some of the burning wreckage of the plane, scattered across an open field.

Reports revealed that Ajit Pawar’s aircraft was travelling from Mumbai. He was trying to make an emergency landing in Baramati.

Earlier, Indian army training aircraft crashed into a city pond, becoming another embarrassment for the Indian Air Force, as every other day, they crash a high-tech aircraft.

Both the trainee pilot, together with the accompanying instructor, were injured and were successfully rescued safely from the partially submerged plane by alert local villagers and emergency personnel.

The aircraft, which reportedly was being operated by a local aviation academy, crashed near Vidya Vahini School after what witnesses said was a sudden technical failure.

The plane was seriously damaged but the authorities said the two pilots who were in the cabin are in stable condition and receiving medical care.

Following the incident, police, fire brigade and rescue teams rushed to the scene to help. Administrative officials have come too, to supervise the situation, cordoning off the area and making sure people are safe. Recovery operations to reduce the damaged fuselage from the muddy pond are currently being undertaken.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered a formal investigation, which will determine the exact cause of the crash.

At this stage it is not clear why the accident occurred, the rescue and rescue efforts are closely monitored by officials. Authorities have promised that an extensive inquiry will follow in order to prevent such accidents in the future.

Whether or not this was due to a technical failure or not, Indian pilots have been consistently crashing good and worthy aircrafts. They even embarrassed themselves on the International stage when India Fighter Jet Tejas crashed during the final Dubai airshow.

This was once again a similar embarrassment for India, as their trained pilots keep crashing the aircrafts that are supposed to fly.
