Apple’s next premium iPhones are already making headlines months before launch, with fresh leaks hinting at some of the biggest design changes seen in recent years.
Reports suggest the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could arrive with a cleaner display, upgraded camera system, larger batteries, and a faster A20 Pro chip aimed at improving overall performance.
One of the most talked-about changes is linked to the front display. Leaks indicate Apple may finally move the Face ID system underneath the screen, reducing the need for the pill-shaped Dynamic Island cutout introduced on earlier iPhone models.
If the reports prove accurate, the new Pro lineup could feature a nearly uninterrupted screen with only a small punch-hole camera remaining for selfies and video calls.
The front camera is also expected to shift away from the centre position. Reports claim Apple could place it near the top-left corner of the display, creating a less distracting viewing experience for users watching videos, gaming, or using apps in full-screen mode.
While the display may see a noticeable makeover, the overall body design is not expected to change dramatically. Industry reports suggest Apple could keep a design language similar to the previous Pro models, focusing more on internal upgrades and screen improvements rather than introducing a completely new chassis.
The expected hardware upgrades may also include better camera performance and improved battery life, though Apple has not officially confirmed any details so far.
If the under-display Face ID technology makes it into the final product, the iPhone 18 Pro series could deliver one of the cleanest-looking displays ever seen on an iPhone. The move may also help Apple offer a more immersive screen experience without removing key security and camera features users rely on daily.
