Web desk: Pakistan’s renowned anchor and television host, Iqrar ul Hassan, is once again in the spotlight.
According to reports, Iqrar ul Hassan attended the funeral of his close friend, Raja Matloob, who tragically died in a car accident in Islamabad.
He was accompanied by his three wives, Qurrat-ul-Ain Iqrar, Farah Yousuf, and Arousa Khan.
Sharing a picture from the funeral, Iqrar ul Hassan wrote that Raja Sahab was happiest when he saw his family together and prayed, “May Allah raise his ranks.”
Iqrar ul Hassan wrote, “Raja Sahab used to be happiest seeing my family together… Allah unn k darjaat buland keray.”
Iqrar ul Hassan also has a son, Pehlaaj, from his first wife. He has frequently emphasised that all members of his family maintain a friendly and harmonious relationship.
Social media reactions to the post were mixed. While some users praised the display of unity and described it as a peaceful moment.
Others criticised it, calling the scene unusual and stating that such situations are inappropriate for society.

Previously, during a public appearance, Hassan spoke about his unique family dynamic.
He acknowledged that having three wives was not a pre-determined path for him. He emphasised that “special” circumstances led him to this point.
When asked about the possibility of a fourth marriage, he replied, “Honesty is the cornerstone of any relationship.”
“I have always been transparent with my wives about my decisions. My first wife was aware of my intention to marry again, and even during my second Nikah, Ainnie (his first wife) was on the phone. There was no secrecy involved.”
He further highlighted the remarkable understanding and support he receives from his wives. “They never engage in petty arguments or compete for material possessions,” he revealed.
“We cherish our time together as a family. I pray for their happiness and well-being, and I am deeply grateful for their presence in my life.”
Waseem Badami
Previously, both Waseem Badami and Iqrar ul Hassan were visibly overcome with grief as they attended the funeral of their close friend and fellow journalist, Raja Matloob Tahir.
Iqrar-ul-Hassan was seen crying. While Waseem Badami also broke down in tears while helping carry the janaza.
