Iran’s Foreign Minister (FM) Abbas Araghchi said that Tehran is ready to go to war with Israel and the US.

“I think by now they have learned a good lesson and understood what kind of nation they are dealing with, one that does not hesitate to defend itself and is ready to continue the war wherever it may lead, and take it as far as necessary,” Abbas Aragchi said during a weekly foreign ministry briefing.

Earlier, on February 28, Israel and the US attacked Iran. Iran’s Supreme Leader, Syed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed during a US-Israel strike on Iran. In retaliation, Iran also launched attacks on US military installations in Gulf countries, including Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman. At the same time, Iran also attacked several areas of Israel.

It is pertinent to mention that the US President Donald Trump had also said he can send troops to fight with Iran, but Iran’s foreign minister also said that “we are waiting for them to fight.”

3rd week of Iran-Israel war

The Iran-Israel war has entered its 3rd week since it was started on February 28. However, multiple countries are not supporting this war between Iran, Israel and the US.

Pakistan condemned the US-Israel attack on Iran. At the same time, European countries, including Switzerland and France, said that they will not be a part of the Iran-Israel war.

On the other hand, the United Kingdom (UK) also said that it will struggle for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz but will not take part in the war between Iran and Israel.
