Foreign Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar has reiterated that Pakistan is facilitating Iran-US talks for achieving peace and stability in the region and beyond.
During a meeting held today to review the latest developments in the region, he said that Pakistan will continue with its efforts in this regard.
Ishaq Dar urged relying solely on official govt statements regarding the Iran-US facilitation process
In a post on X, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the minister underlined that Pakistan’s official policy statements on the Iran-US facilitation process are only those issued by official sources.
“Unnamed Pakistani officials or sources, whether quoted in print or social media, do not reflect Pakistan’s official position. He advised print and electronic media to refrain from speculative reporting and focus on official statements only”, added the ministry.

The White House said United States envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will travel to Islamabad, Pakistan, today.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi landed in Pakistan last night.
The minister had a meeting with Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and met Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir in Islamabad.
