Web desk: Users in Pakistan and across the world are complaining that social media platform X, formerly Twitter, is down. And Downdetector has confirmed that the disruption is affecting the platform.
Elon Musk’s X experienced outages for thousands of users in the US on Tuesday, according to Downdetector.com.
By 6:51 a.m. ET, Downdetector, which tracks service disruptions by collecting status reports from multiple sources, had received over 5,600 reports of issues with the platform.
Cloudflare (NET.N), a web infrastructure company, was also facing problems that affected other services. Though it was not immediately clear if the outages were connected.
Around 6:40 AM ET, Cloudflare posted on its status page that it was investigating the issue. The company’s shares fell 4.1 per cent in premarket trading.
“We are working to understand the full impact and mitigate this problem. More updates to follow shortly,” Cloudflare said, reports Reuters.
