The Excise and Taxation Department Islamabad has changed the M-Tag timings.
Now, all 10 M-Tag centers will be open seven days a week.
The timings are 9 am to 9 pm, every day including Saturday and Sunday.
Director Excise and Taxation Bilal Azam made this announcement.
The goal is to help people who cannot visit during normal office days because of work or business.
At these centres, drivers can:
- Register for a new M-Tag
- Renew their M-Tag
- Get help and information about M-Tag
Official staff have been told to:
- Be present on time
- Make sure service is smooth and quick
This change should:
- Reduce long queues
- Save time for drivers
- Help more people use M-Tag
With more M-Tags in use, traffic at toll plazas is expected to move faster and payments will be more cashless and easy.
The administration said the new centers will help thousands of daily commuters complete the mandatory M-Tag installation without long waits.
New M-Tag installation points (9am to 9pm):
- Kachnar Park, I-8
- Islamabad Club
- Lake View Park
- F-9 Park
- Tarlai
- Gulberg Greens
- 26 Number Chungi
