The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has launched week-long deployment schedule for its Facilitation Vans, including the Police Station on Wheels.
The Facilitation Vans will deliver essential traffic and police-related services directly to residents across the federal capital from February 23 to March 1, 2026.
An ITP official confirmed that the mobile units will operate daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, allowing citizens to access key services conveniently without needing to visit traffic police offices or stations.

- Issuance of Driving Learner Permits
- General Verification
- Character Certificates
- Duplicate Driving Licenses
- Renewal of Driving Licenses
- Reports for Lost Documents

In addition, dedicated Help & Facilitation Desks will remain active every evening from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at major commercial areas, including F-10 Markaz, Super Market F-6, I-8 Markaz, and Jinnah Super F-7, to support citizens during peak hours.
Residents are requested to visit the nearest Facilitation Van according to the schedule to avail these doorstep services.
Islamabad launches M-tag for motorcycles: Here’s how to register
On the other hand, the Islamabad administration launched M-tag for motorcycles across the federal capital, as part of the ongoing vehicle tagging.
Key dates
- The second phase, covering motorcycles, will begin on February 20.
- Motorcycle owners can start obtaining M-Tags from 10 am on that date.
- Registration takes place at 13 designated points across the city.
How to Register
- Visit one of the 13 M-Tag installation points in Islamabad.
- Bring the required motorcycle documents along with your identity card (CNIC).
- The M-Tag will be issued and installed on the spot.
