Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court will remain closed on Tuesday, according to an official notification issued by the registrar’s office. All district courts in Islamabad will also remain closed on the same day, a separate notification confirmed. Court authorities said the closure applies to judicial and administrative functions across the capital’s court system.
The decision was approved by the Chief Justice and a notification issued.
Notification issued after approval
The registrar’s office issued the notifications following formal approval from the Chief Justice. No further details were provided on the reason for the closure. Authorities advised lawyers, litigants and the public to plan their schedules accordingly, noting that regular court proceedings are expected to resume after the closure.
