The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have announced 790 job vacancies in the Dolphin Force, inviting applications from eligible male and female candidates across Pakistan.
According to the recruitment advertisement issued by the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, the vacancies include positions of Sub-Inspector (BS-14), Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-11) and Constable (BS-07).
The recruitment drive aims to fill 790 posts through provincial and regional quotas to ensure transparency and merit-based selection.
Islamabad Police Jobs 2026: Post-Wise Vacancies
The advertised vacancies are divided into three categories:
· Sub-Inspector (BS-14): 2 posts
· Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-11): 38 posts
· Constable (BS-07): 750 posts
Of the total vacancies, 750 are reserved for constables, making this the largest recruitment category.
Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications
Candidates applying for Sub-Inspector positions must hold at least a second-class or Grade C bachelor’s degree (two years), an Associate Degree or BS (four years), or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
For Assistant Sub-Inspector positions, applicants must have a second-class or Grade C BA, BSc or post-intermediate Associate Degree from an HEC-recognised university.
Candidates applying for constable positions must have passed matriculation from a recognised board.
The age limit for all three categories is 18 to 25 years, with an upper-age relaxation of five years applicable under Federal Government rules.
Physical Standards for Applicants
The recruitment advertisement also specifies physical fitness requirements for male and female candidates.
Male applicants must have a minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches, while the minimum height requirement for female candidates is 5 feet 2 inches.
For male candidates, the required chest measurement is 33 to 34.5 inches.
Applicants must also meet the prescribed eyesight standards, with 6/6 vision, with or without glasses, and near vision not below J-1.
Regarding physical fitness, male candidates must complete a 1.6-kilometre run within seven minutes, while female candidates must cover the same distance within 10 minutes.
