Hyderabad Kingsmen beat Islamabad United by 6 wickets in PSL 11

Hyderabad Kingsmen defeated Islamabad United by 6 wickets in the PSI. Islamabad United scored 153 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the first match in Karachi. In response, Hyderabad Kingsmen chased down the target of 154 runs in the 19th over.

Marnus Labuschagne remained unbeaten with 61 runs. Glenn Maxwell scored 21 runs off 9 balls, while Moaz Sadaqat contributed 30 runs and Saim Ayyub added 35 runs.

Islamabad United have set a target of 154 runs for Hyderabad Kingsmen in a closely contested Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 encounter.

After winning the toss, Hyderabad Kingsmen opted to field first and invited Islamabad United to bat on a competitive surface at the Karachi venue.

Batting first, Islamabad United were bowled out for 153 runs in 19.4 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process. The innings was anchored by experienced batter Devon Conway, who top-scored with 45 runs, while Mark Chapman added a solid 42-run contribution. Samir Minhas chipped in with 22 runs, and Mohammad Faiq scored 18 runs to help push the total to a fighting score.

For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Asif Mahmood delivered an impressive bowling performance, taking 4 wickets, while Muhammad Ali supported well with 2 wickets.

Hyderabad Kingsmen will now need 154 runs to win the match. At the toss, Hyderabad captain Marnus Labuschagne said they would aim to win this match as well as the previous one. Akif Javed replaced Asif Mahmood in the team. Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan said he was not playing the match as a precaution, and Mehran Mumtaz replaced him in the team. He added that if they had won the toss, they would have chosen to bat first.
