The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a special song titled “Ek Dooje Ke Dil-o-Jaan” to mark Saudi Arabia’s National Day and pay tribute to the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The song, presented in both Urdu and Arabic, highlights the close ties between the two countries and conveys a message of friendship, brotherhood and shared values.
The new ISPR song also highlights the Pakistan-Saudi defence partnership, including the two countries’ cooperation in defence and security, while emphasising their longstanding fraternal relationship.
Titled “Ek Dooje Ke Dil-o-Jaan”, the song carries themes of friendship, peace and shared commitments between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The lyrics and melody seek to portray the enduring bond between the two nations, extending from Pakistan to the Holy Land, while celebrating their historical and fraternal ties.
The song was released as Saudi Arabia observes its National Day, an annual occasion marking the unification of the Kingdom.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye officially signed the landmark joint defence agreement today, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed.
According to the Foreign Office, the agreement formalises decades of close ties among the three countries and establishes a framework for enhanced defence collaboration based on mutual trust, shared interests and regional stability.
The FO said the pact is purely defensive in nature and is not directed against any country. It is designed to strengthen collective security and deterrence by ensuring closer military coordination, intelligence sharing and strategic cooperation among the three allies.
Officials said the agreement comes at a time of shifting regional security dynamics, with evolving conflicts and emerging threats highlighting the need for greater cooperation among like-minded partners. The trilateral framework aims to promote peace, prevent conflict through credible deterrence and contribute to long-term regional stability.
