Jamal Raisani calls Quetta attack a cowardly act against innocent people

Pakistan People’s Party Balochistan leader and Member of the National Assembly, Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani, strongly condemned the terrorist attack near Chaman Phatak in Quetta, stating that “Fitna al Hindustan” once again targeted innocent civilians through brutal acts of terrorism.

In his statement on X, Raisani said the attack on a train carrying unarmed passengers, including women and children travelling to their hometowns for Eidul Azha holidays, was not only an assault on humanity but also a direct attack on Baloch traditions and national values.

By targeting unarmed passengers, innocent women and children, these terrorists are revealing their brutality and cowardice to the world.

 The brave people of Balochistan are standing as a lead-lined wall in front of these terrorist elements. Every drop of the blood of the martyrs will be accounted for, God willing, he reiterated.

May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the martyrs, grant perfect health to the injured, give patience to the bereaved families and make our province and beloved homeland a cradle of peace, prosperity and brotherhood again, he added.

Meanwhile, the Government of Balochistan has strongly condemned the recent tragic and cowardly explosion near Chaman Phatak in the provincial capital, Quetta, and expressed deep sorrow, grief, and regret over the incident.

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Information, Shahid Rind, in an official statement issued on behalf of the provincial government, said that targeting innocent citizens in this act of terrorism was an extremely brutal act.

He stated in unequivocal terms that the terrorists backed by “Fitna al Hindustan attempting to sabotage law and order do not deserve any leniency and will be dealt with an iron hand.

He further said that, due to the close surveillance and timely action of security agencies near Chaman Phatak in Quetta, a major tragedy involving the Jaffar Express was averted.
