The Jerusalem Post has been exposed globally for spreading false propaganda against Pakistan, wrongly blaming an innocent Pakistani for the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.
The Israeli newspaper rushed to run a front-page story claiming the attacker was a 24-year-old Pakistani, ignoring basic journalistic standards and official confirmation.
Australian authorities have since confirmed that one of the attackers is actually an Afghan national from Nangarhar.

To push its anti-Pakistan narrative, the paper even relied on a social media profile of Pakistani electrical engineer Naveed Akram, falsely linking him to terrorism. His profile shows that he completed his studies between 2012–2016, meaning he would be 31–32 in 2025, not 24.
The Jerusalem Post’s reckless reporting is yet another example of Israel’s media targeting Pakistan with baseless propaganda.
LinkedIn profile used by Jerusalem Post for anti-Pakistan propaganda belonged to Sheikh Naveed
The Jerusalem Post falsely used Sheikh Naveed’s social media profile to blame Pakistan for the Bondi Beach attack.
Now, Sheikh Naveed has spoken out.
He said, “This photo being circulated is NOT the person involved in the Bondi incident. That is me, and I am completely innocent and have no connection whatsoever to what happened. Someone is falsely using my picture, which is putting my safety, reputation, and well-being at risk.”

Who is behind the Bondi Beach terrorist attack?
The terrorist behind the Sydney attack is Naveed Akram, an Afghan national.
He was a student at Sydney’s Al-Murad Islamic Institute.
