Hum News Islamabad Bureau Producer Khurram Iqbal has reached his home, according to the reports on Friday.
According to sources, the National Cyber Crime Agency (NCCIA) had taken Khurram Iqbal into custody under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
Earlier, Provincial Information Minister Uzma Bukhari had clarified in her statement that Khurram Iqbal is not missing but is under detention under the PECA Act.
Azma Bukhari further said that Khurram Iqbal is accused of making fake videos. Adding that making fake videos is against journalistic values.
It should be noted that Khurram Iqbal was at his sister’s house in the Journalist Colony area of Lahore around 1 PM. From where he was taken into custody by the National Cyber Crime Agency officials, according to the reports.
