A social media post by Muhammad Junaid Safdar has emerged in the middle of continuous speculation regarding his travelling in an aeroplane.
The public figure has categorically denied allegations regarding flying to Vienna on a Gulfstream aeroplane.

In an Instagram story shared on Sunday, Safdar denied the reports that had been spread all over the internet, that he had not been on such a flight and that he was currently in Lahore.
The short statement seemed to point towards the “online discussions that suggested that he had travelled abroad on a private jet”.
“No. I have not made the trip to Vienna by Gulfstream. I am in Lahore, a much happier place in the rain,” Safdar wrote in the post.
He went further by criticising what he called an effort to misinform and accusing critics of propaganda.
“Nincompoops should have waited as a minimum until the end of Ramadan to restart their propaganda turbines”, he added.
The statement comes as the social media platforms continue to be buzzing with claims about the alleged use of an aircraft for private travel.

While there hasn’t been any official confirmation of such travel, it soon became viral on social media.
Safdar’s post is the first direct response from him to this matter. By publicly denying the reports and making clear where he was currently.
Screenshots of the instagram story have been widely distributed across different platforms, which has further amplified the conversation about the alleged trip and the use of government resources.
Observers point out such controversies are being spread on the Internet before any official verification of the facts.
As of now there is no evidence supporting the rumours spread online.
