Several flights operating from Karachi Jinnah International Airport faced a massive schedule disruption due to technical and operational issues.
No specific reason for the disruption of flights operating from the airport was provided. Passengers had to suffer long delays without being provided a clear reason, which added to their frustration.
According to Civil Aviation officials, eight flights from different airlines have been canceled due to the flight operations being affected.
A Thai flight TG-342 was cancelled, which was scheduled to land at Bangkok Airport from Karachi.
An Air China CA-946 flight was also canceled, which was scheduled to land at Beijing airport from Karachi.
A Salam Air flight OV-511 was cancelled, which was scheduled to land at Muscat airport from Karachi.
A Baltic Air flight OD-136 was also cancelled, which was scheduled to land at Kuala Lampur airport from Karachi.
On the other hand, two flights of AirSial Pf-145 and PF-143 have also been cancelled, according to CAA.
AirSial flights were scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) Lahore, from Karachi.
Another AirSial flight PF-123 was cancelled. This flight was scheduled to land at Islamabad airport from Karachi.
A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-536 was also cancelled, which was scheduled to land at Sukkur airport from Karachi.
