The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the HSC Part-I Pre-Engineering Group Result 2026 for students who appeared in the Intermediate Science Annual Examination 2026.

The result pertains to Class 11 students enrolled in the Science Pre-Engineering Group under the Karachi Board. Along with announcing the result, BIEK has released the official result gazette containing students’ examination roll numbers and marks.

According to the gazette, students’ results have been arranged college-wise, with each candidate listed against their respective roll number and marks obtained in the examination.

The gazette also provides details of students based on the number of papers they have successfully cleared. Students can check their HSC Part-I Pre-Engineering Result 2026 through the official BIEK result gazette by using their examination roll number.

To check the result, students should open the official BIEK HSC Part-I Pre-Engineering result gazette and search for their roll number. Once the roll number is located, students can view the marks obtained and confirm their result status.

While announcing the results, Controller of Examinations Zarina Rashid stated that 15,044 candidates had registered for the Science Pre-Engineering Group examinations, of whom 14,683 appeared. Of the candidates who appeared, 6,310 passed all six papers, 79 passed five papers, 747 passed four papers, 1,827 passed three papers, 1,864 passed two papers, and 1,783 passed one paper.

It is pertinent to note that, in accordance with a decision by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) and the Sindh Government’s Department of Universities and Boards, a new grading system has been introduced for this year’s Intermediate Part-I annual examinations.

Under the new system, candidates who score less than 40% marks in a paper are declared “ungraded” and are not considered to have passed that paper. Candidates who meet the other eligibility criteria will be allowed to reappear in the examination for the respective paper.
