Karachi: fire breaks out in residential flats in North Nazimabad

A fire broke out in Bismillah Residential Flats in North Nazimabad, Karachi, on Sunday.

According to the reports, a fire broke out after a blast inside the building. According to the latest reports, the fire has been brought under control, 3 people were rescued from the building.

A woman and 3 other people have been injured, and a child has been killed in the fire.

Police teams reached the scene in large numbers, while three fire brigade vehicles are engaged in efforts to bring the blaze under control.

Authorities said the exact nature and cause of the explosion are being investigated. They added that it is too early to say what caused the blast.

According to initial findings, the blast was caused by a gas cylinder. A woman and a child have been injured in the blast.

The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.

Gas bowser catches fire near Taftan customs house in Quetta

A gas bowser caught fire near the customs office in Taftan, Quetta, previously. During efforts to control the fire, the bowser exploded. It injured two firefighters.
