KARACHI: A secret, controversial party in Karachi with the title ‘Lesboween’ has gone viral on the internet with social media users lashing out at the invitation.
The netizens bashed the objectionable event, with the problematic invitation for lesbian and gay attendees, but it makes no mention of the venue to avoid legal action.
As per the social media post, “the party is said to be on October 30 (today) at 9 PM and asked people who are interested participants to get location details and other information via direct message.”
It also warns that “limited slots are available” and that registration closed on October 29.
Viral invite
As of now, neither the Sindh government nor cybercrime officials have issued any statements or updates on the matter, leaving such online events unchecked.
