Johar said he had a rewarding experience hosting the programme. However, he now wants to focus on other creative projects. The filmmaker plans to direct more films during the next decade. An episode featuring the two cricketers was removed from Hotstar in 2019. The decision followed remarks made by Pandya about women. Both players were also briefly suspended from India’s national cricket team after the controversy. The show also faced uncertainty in 2022. Johar posted that the programme would not return. He later clarified that the show had moved away from television. It continued as a streaming programme on Hotstar instead.
