Popular TikToker Kashfa Khan has asked the relevant authorities to take action against the person who allegedly leaked and spread her video on social media without her consent.
Kashfa Khan said that the video she is in has been allegedly leaked without her consent and it was a private video that was then shared on social media.
She has asked officials concerned to come to her aid and find out who is responsible for getting, leaking and distributing the video.
Kashfa Khan urged the relevant authorities in her appeal to act on the issue and start the proceedings against the culprit under the relevant law.
She also asked that an inquiry be held into the source of the video and how it was spread online.
The TikToker said she had not authorised the video to be leaked and shared.
She has requested the authorities to investigate the leak source and take action against it.
The case has once again raised questions about online sharing of private information on social media.
These events can lead to substantial privacy and reputation issues for persons whose personal information is disseminated without their authorisation.
The person who allegedly leaked and/or spread the video has not been independently confirmed at this time, however.
