The Government of Pakistan has announced to raise the monthly allowance of Jammu and Kashmir refugees to Rs5000 per head.
Kashmir Affairs Federal Minister Amir Muqam said that the move is a show of the unwavering support to the people of Kashmir by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He said that the government is busy with pilot housing project of value of Rs3b whereby it is building 750 houses.
Amir Muqam also added that the rehabilitation and stable resettlement of refugees is one of the priorities of the government.
According to him, the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has allocated state land to be used in the housing scheme.
Rs50,000 announced for unemployed graduates in Pakistan
In separate development that as the unemployment rate rises in Pakistan, the government has announced to give Rs50,000 each to the jobless university graduates per month.
The Rs50,000 amount will be given to unemployed graduates each month. The initiative is launched to decrease the number of talented graduate from leaving Pakistan.
Speaking about the program, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said the one-year paid training initiative will be for young engineers across Pakistan
He said that “they will not remain unemployed or feel compelled to seek jobs abroad.”
What is the new initiative?
The new program, once launched, will induct nearly 10,000 fresh-graduated engineers. The initiative will place the graduates on ongoing development projects across Pakistan.
Every unemployed graduate will get Rs50000 per month as a monthly in order to meet their basic needs. The program will likely benefit nearly 50000 engineers in total.

Earlier, the government announced a relief package for the citizens with Rs10,000 monthly for deserving people.
As per details, the Punjab government introduced a new scheme. Under this scheme, families who struggle to make ends meet and cannot afford to buy basic needs of life will get Rs10,000 from Ramazan nigehban package.
