Khairpur: 11 killed, 15 injured in passenger bus, trailer collision

At least 11 passengers were killed and 15 others injured when a passenger bus collided with a trailer on the National Highway near Tando Masti in Khairpur district, Sindh.

Rescue sources said the bodies of the deceased and the injured were being transferred to Khairpur Hospital.

According to rescue officials, the passenger bus was travelling from Punjab to Karachi. The accident occurred due to high speed.

Meanwhile, Sindh IG Javed Alam Odho directed Khairpur SSP to send police to the accident site. He instructed that all rescue operations be carried out effectively.

The IG also emphasised that roads be kept clear during the transfer of the injured to hospitals.

Karachi: 13 killed in multi-vehicle crash near Kathore involving oil tanker, bus

A collision involving an oil tanker, a bus, and several other vehicles has left 13 people dead and many others injured near Kathore in Karachi, on Friday.

The injured people have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment and medication.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Abdul Khaliq said that so far, 13 bodies, including women and children, have been recovered. Police teams are at the scene, and traffic is being managed on a single track.

According to the initial reports, 3 men, 3 women and 6 children have been killed so far. 2 of the victims have been identified.

Initial reports also suggest that the oil tanker had fallen on the passenger coach, crushing several passengers underneath.

Several people also fell off the bridge, due to which the death toll has risen.

Among the casualties, a man named Rafi and a child named Muneeba have been identified.
