Web desk: Senior Pakistani politician Khawaja Asif strongly reacted after the Indian media published regarding an Interview of Imran Khan’s sister with Yalda Hakim of Sky News.
Indian media quoted Aleema Khan, sister of Imran Khan, saying the Army Chief is a radicalised Islamist who seeks a full-scale conflict with India.
“Asim Munir is a radicalised Islamist, an Islamic conservative. This is the reason why he yearns for a war with India. His Islamic radicalisation and conservatism are forcing him to fight against those who don’t believe in Islam,” Aleema said when asked about the reason behind the India-Pakistan conflict in May, reports Indian media.
The reports came a day after Imran Khan’s other sister was allowed to meet him in Adiala Jail.

Asif said, ‘They are desperate for power.’ He recalled that 6 months ago, Pakistan’s armed forces under the same Field Marshal Asim Munir gave India a clear message.
‘We gave India a slap in the face by the grace of Allah,’ he added. Further stating that even President Donald Trump mentioned the matter of 7 planes many times.
He said love for Pakistan, loyalty to its soil, and defending Islam are the values of all Pakistanis. If that makes someone a radicalised Islamist, then it is a badge for 250 million Pakistanis.
Asif criticised those using Indian media to attack Pakistan. He said political battles should be fought inside Pakistan and not in ‘India’s lap’.
Criticising, he said, ‘The sewing machines are closed, that’s why they are upset and taking refuge in the Indian media.’
He added that Pakistan has shown defensive capability and strategic restraint. Further adding, “The war that this respected lady is talking about—if India imposes it on us again, God willing, we will settle this with India as well..”
