The Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to launch an important internship program for BS students on Tuesday, which will provide opportunities for the youth to move forward in the practical field.

In this regard, a detailed briefing was given to Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi on the Ehsaas Internship Program.

During the briefing, various aspects of the program were reviewed, and its effectiveness was considered.

Internship for students in KP

The duration of the internship under the program has been fixed at a minimum of two months and a maximum of six months.

Under this scheme, selected students will be given a monthly stipend of Rs25,000.

The amount will help with their educational and personal expenses. Officials say that this initiative will play an important role in making the youth talented. It will also prepare them for future challenges.

Eligibility criteria

According to the eligibility criteria, those students who have a minimum GPA of 3 will be eligible to apply for this program.

The government has made it clear that merit will be ensured so that the most benefit can be given to capable and hardworking students.

Govt announces jobs, training for 25,000 unemployed youth

The Punjab government has announced a major initiative to train 25,000 young people and connect them with employment opportunities.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the plan under the CM Youth Employability Program.

Jobs will be available in customer support, call centres, and digital marketing, among other fields.

25,000 young people will receive training in cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, and Sialkot.
