Kylie Jenner is facing a lawsuit from her former housekeeper, who alleges that she experienced discrimination based on her religion and national origin from other staff members.
According to reports, Angelica Vasquez stated that she started her role as a housekeeper for the Keeping up with the Kardashians star at her residence in Beverly Hills, California, in September 2024.
Vasquez stated that just one week later, she was transferred to Jenner’s Hidden Hills residence, where she reported to the head housekeeper, Patsy, and a woman named Elsi.
Former housekeeper sues Kylie Jenner over discrimination
Vasquez, who identifies as Salvadoran and Catholic, claimed in the lawsuit that she was consistently assigned the most challenging and undesirable tasks, excluded from the housekeeping team, publicly belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers due to her race, national origin, and religion and subjected to intimidation and degrading treatment.
In the documents, Vasquez alleged that her accent was frequently ridiculed and that she was compelled to undertake the tasks assigned to Patsy and Elsi.
After experiencing symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety as a result of the allegedly hostile working environment, Vasquez resigned in August 2025.
She is pursuing damages for unpaid wages, emotional distress, and additional claims, along with punitive damages.
Sources close with Kylie’s household have revealed that the plaintiff was a junior housekeeping staff member who experienced attendance problems, along with other workplace issues.
However, none of these accusations appear to be aimed directly at Kylie, rather, they focus on her staff and her inability to resolve the complaints and concerns, although she has been named as a defendant.
