Lack of discipline in PTI delaying Imran Khan’s release, says Achakzai

Tehreek-i-Tahaffuz Aain-i-Pakistan (TTAP) chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai said on Friday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is suffering from a serious lack of discipline within its ranks.

While addressing lawyers in Lahore, Achakzai said the release of PTI founder Imran Khan depends on discipline and unity within the party. He claimed that PTI lacks organisation, adding that even small groups act independently, with everyone fighting among themselves.

Achakzai said PTI enjoys unprecedented public support, but its founding leader remains in jail because of what he described as poor discipline and weak internal structure within the party.

Speaking on the same occasion, Barrister Ali Zafar said Pakistan’s integrity must remain the top priority. He said developments in regions such as Venezuela, Europe, Gaza, and Kashmir clearly show how vital national integrity is. He added that the presence of the PTI founder among the people is essential for the country.
