Lahore board issues roll number slips for Intermediate Part-I Exams

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has issued roll number slips for candidates appearing in the Intermediate Part-I (First Year) Annual Examinations 2026.

According to board spokesperson Tahir Javed, the examinations will officially commence on June 15, with all necessary administrative arrangements already completed.

This year, a total of 168,285 students are expected to appear in the Intermediate Part-I examinations. To facilitate candidates, the board has established 566 examination centres across Lahore.

The board has directed examination staff to ensure the transparent conduct of exams and provide essential facilities to students, including clean drinking water and proper seating arrangements.

In addition, special monitoring squads have been formed to oversee examination centres and prevent any irregularities or unfair practices during the examination process.

Earlier, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi implemented strict monitoring protocols for exams to guarantee transparency, merit and discipline during the Intermediate 1st Annual Exam-2026.

Advanced digital surveillance, specialised monitoring teams, and strict enforcement measures have been established at examination centres across Rawalpindi to prevent dishonest practices and eradicate the influence of cheating syndicates.

As per a press release issued by the Intermediate board , the Controller of Examinations, Tanveer Asghar Awan, carried out unannounced inspections at several examination centres to assess the arrangements and ensure discipline was being followed.

During these inspections, he evaluated the Government Associate College for Women Balkassar, Government Associate College for Boys Choa Saidan Shah and Government Associate College for Women Choa Saidan Shah.

He assessed the examination atmosphere, security measures, staff performance and the amenities provided to candidates, and he issued directives to uphold strict discipline and transparency throughout the Intermediate exams.
