LAHORE: In a horrific incident, a girl reportedly attempted suicide and jumped from second floor of a private university in Lahore.

As per details, the girl was identified as 21-year-old Fatima, who is a Pharm D student at University of Lahore.

The student has been shifted to the university hospital in critical condition.

Earlier, a male student identified as Muhammad Awais also committed suicide after jumping from the university’s second floor.

Chinese woman dies in Islamabad’s G-8 sector after jumping from building

A tragic incident occurred in Sector G-8 of the federal capital, Islamabad, where a young Chinese woman died after jumping from the roof of a residential building on Wednesday.

According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as Wang Ruoping.

As per the reports, she had come to Pakistan on a visit visa. Upon receiving information about the incident, police teams rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.

The initial investigations suggest that the woman sustained severe head injuries as a result of the fall. This proved fatal on the spot.

The body of the deceased Chinese woman was shifted to a nearby hospital for completion of legal and medical formalities.

Police officials stated that the incident is being examined from all angles.

They added that suicide or other possible causes cannot be ruled out at this stage.

Evidence is being collected, and people connected to the deceased are also being questioned.

Authorities said the exact cause of the incident will be determined after completion of the investigations.

42-year-old Chinese woman found dead

In the past, a 42-year-old Chinese woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Sector F-8, Islamabad.

Her partner in Pakistan informed local police about the incident. This prompted the authorities to begin an investigation into the cause of her death.

According to reports, the woman had been feeling unwell earlier in the morning and had gone to her room to rest.

Her body was later discovered by her companions, who immediately alerted the police. The authorities took the body into custody and initiated legal proceedings.

Police officials stated that it was too early to determine the exact cause of death.

“The post-mortem will provide more clarity on the circumstances surrounding her death,” a spokesperson said.

The Chinese embassy was informed, and its officials worked to gather further details about the case.

Authorities continued investigating to establish whether foul play was involved or if the death resulted from natural causes.
