In the sixth match of PSL 11, the Lahore Qalandars set a target of 129 runs for the Karachi Kings to chase.
In the big match of the event, played in Lahore, Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi won the toss and chose to bat first.
The Kings’ bowlers bowled well, keeping the Qalandars’ batters under pressure from the start and not allowing them to play freely. Experienced Moeen Ali helped Fakhar Zaman get settled in the first over, but wickets began to fall at regular intervals thereafter.
The Qalandars’ batsmen managed to build a few partnerships and played cautiously. Abdullah Shafiq resisted by scoring 33 runs, but the other batsmen could not match his effort.
Sikandar Raza scored 19, opener Muhammad Naeem 13, Pervez Hussain 12, Shaheen Afridi 7, and Usama Mir managed only 1 run each.
