An FIR has been registered against Farhat Shahzadi, also known as Farah Gogi, who is a close friend of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi. Farah Gogi remained a controversial character during Imran Khan’s tenure.
The case has been registered against Farah Gogi due to her involvement in selling government land in Gujranwala. According to media reports, Farah Gogi sold the government land in G Mangolia Housing Society in Gujranwala.
The FIR has also been registered against Farah Gogi’s husband, Ahsan Jameel, and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MPA Qaiser Iqbal Sindhu. Authorities claim they were allegedly involved in the same case.

Gujranwala Development Authority (GDA) also confirmed that PML-N’s MPA was playing the role of a frontman in the entire scandal.

According to the FIR, government land was allegedly seized through forgery. It further states that parks, cemeteries, schools and other public buildings were illegally sold. The document also alleges that mortgaged plots were unlawfully constructed and later sold.
Separate cases have already been filed against the housing society’s owners, developers, directors and managers. Gujranwala police have sealed all related offices as part of the investigation.
The Gujranwala Development Authority said it would take strict action against Farah Gogi and others.
Who is Farah Gogi?
Farhat Shahzadi, alias Farah Gogi, is a famous friend of Bushra Bibi. She was a very active member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) when Imran Khan was the prime minister.
Farah Gogi has previously faced allegations of corruption during the tenure of former Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
According to media reports, Farah Gogi is currently living abroad with her family. Her declared assets stood at Rs4,520 million during Imran Khan’s tenure from 2018 to 2022.
