The young cricketer of Hyderabad Kingsmen, Maaz Sadaqat has emphasised that his team needs to win all their remaining games to remain in the PSL 11.
The opening batter who spoke to the media after they won their first game spoke of how relieved and delighted he was to win their first match of the tournament.
Maaz claimed that the team was delighted with winning after a difficult beginning.
He emphasised that the players had specifically practised on how to rectify errors made in the middle overs which were advantageous in the recent match.
He said that they had efficient strategies going into the initial games, but they failed to put them into action.
The Kingsmen were able to provide a far better all-round performance in this game though.
The young batter also talked in terms of his position in the team saying he thinks he is an all-rounder.
He disclosed that he could not bowl previously due to back pains but that he has now started bowling.
He continued by saying that on the advice of the captain he chose to play in the bowling department too, which he considers to be a key role in the future.
Maaz also added that having foreign players in the team has provided them with a healthy and friendly atmosphere in the team.
He declared he is extremely relaxed and connected with the foreign players and this has been used to develop some team chemistry.
Important to mention is that Hyderabad Kingsmen won their first match in the tournament beating Karachi Kings by a margin of four wickets.
Maaz Sadaqat was instrumental to the win, knocking 37 on 29 deliveries, and assisting his team to chase the target and acquire much-needed momentum in PSL 11.
