Pakistani actress Mahira Khan got emotional during her film Neelofar promotions.

During an event, Fawad Khan opened up about the challenging years, sharing how they were filled with ups and downs. Emotions ran high as Mahira Khan became teary-eyed, both of them deeply moved.

His heartfelt moment unfolded during the Neelofar press conference in Dubai.

“Your words really hit me … I don’t know what to say but I can vouch that this has been one of the most challenging films of ours – more for Fawad,” said Mahira, struggling to hold back tears.

The movie survived a pandemic, long production gaps and emotional upheavals. Fawad admitted that restarting the film two and a half years after the initial shutdown “felt impossible at times,” but seeing the final cut made it worth the pain.

Mahira said the film is not meant to provoke pity or preach a message. “If you look at Neelofar and only feel sympathy, then I have not done my job,” she said.

Mahira Khan, a close friend of Fawad, was deeply moved after hearing about the difficult time he’s been going through lately.

Pakistan’s most-loved couple is reuniting soon, with their new movie set to release on November 28th.

The two recently starred in The Legend of Maula Jatt, which became Pakistan’s highest-grossing film.

It was released in 2022 and made many hundreds of crores.
