Mahrang Baloch, Iman Mazari’s “Missing Person” Found as BLA Commander

Mahrang Baloch Imaan Mazari Salim Baloch

The anti-state X account, “Bahut Baloch”, confirmed that Salim Baloch, alias Momal, was a BLA commander and was killed during the recent Herof 2.0 operation in Balochistan.

On the other hand, the so-called Human Rights Activist, Mahrang Baloch and Imaan Mazari claimed several times that Salim Baloch is a missing person.

Their narrative, however, now appears misleading in light of BLA’s official confirmation.

The conflicting reports have sparked outrage across social media, with many questioning the credibility of activists who falsely represented a known militant as a victim. Analysts say such misinformation campaigns not only undermine accountability but also exploit sensitive issues like enforced disappearances in Balochistan for personal or political gain.

Salim Baloch’s case serves as a reminder of the dangerous consequences of spreading unverified claims and highlights the need for careful reporting in conflict regions.
