It has been agreed that the topics of patriotism and Marka-e-Haq will be becoming a part of the educational curriculum.
A private news channel reported that a meeting of the Information Steering Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Minister for Information for Punjab, Azma Bukhari.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Information Tahir Raza Hamdani, Additional Secretary Home, Director Finance and Directors also participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, it was decided to introduce topics of patriotism and Marka-e-Haq in educational curriculum as well as directions were given to organise Marka-e-Haq programs in private educational institutions.
The meeting agreed to make a film on Marka-e-Haq and national unity and another drama on the life of the first Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan under the film funds initiative.

It was also decided to initiate a massive public awareness programme for national unity and participants asked the DG ISPR to continue visits to educational institutions.
During this meeting, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari also announced a special monitoring cell to be set up in the Information and Home Departments, so that prompt identification and action would be taken against the spreaders of “hateful content” on social media.
She urged authorities to accelerate the efforts to combat hateful content in light of Muharram-ul-Haram and said that no provocation or hate speech would be allowed during Muharram.
The special cell would make sure that information would be provided to the public in time and in an accurate manner.
