Photographs from Junaid Safdar’s wedding festivities has generated significant buzz on social media after the Punjab’s minister of information and environment Marriyum Aurangzeb was seen with a quite different look which many labelled as a stunning “glow-up”.

The image started circulating on the internet and soon attracted attention because of what people thought was a visible change in the appearance of Aurangzeb.

Within hours, the post drew a lot of reactions, with hundreds of social media users highlighting the differences to earlier visuals when she underwent for press conferences and public appearances with a more striking facial features along with her more trim frame. No official statement has been made by Aurangzeb about the change in her appearance and there is no evidence that she used any medication or she underwent any cosmetic or medical procedure.

Despite this, the photo still receives engagement, indicating the way people’s looks of those in public roles are often put under heavy scrutiny on social media.
