The results of the MDCAT 2026 have been announced, with around 66 per cent of candidates declared successful.
According to the results, Muhammad Hassan secured the top position by scoring a perfect 180 out of 180 marks.
A total of 38,845 candidates registered for the medical entrance examination, while 37,747 candidates appeared in the test.
Meanwhile, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has busted an organised group allegedly involved in defrauding students and their parents in the name of increasing MDCAT marks and improving their merit positions.
According to FIA officials, the group targeted MDCAT candidates and their parents, allegedly promising to manipulate examination results and secure higher marks in exchange for large sums of money.
The FIA said the suspects had collected millions of rupees from students and their families through the alleged scam. The agency has arrested the main suspects involved in the network.
Officials said investigations are continuing, while raids and operations have been expanded across the country to arrest the group’s alleged facilitators, agents and other members.
The FIA has urged students and parents to remain cautious of individuals claiming they can alter MDCAT results or guarantee admission through illegal means.
