The prices of milk, vegetables and medicine are about to rise in Pakistan due to the continuous increase in the price of petrol.
The price hike in the petroleum products will result in higher rates of medicine than usual.
The essential necessities, including milk and vegetables, will also be reportedly available at higher costs.
According to the media reports, Panadol syrup price has seen a rise to Rs140 to Rs150.
The syrup used to protect children against cough, cold, and flu was quite cheap before.
The officials in Lahore said that an increase in the price of one medicine has led to a price hike of all other pharmaceuticals.
Prices of the medicine have been doubled due to an increase in petroleum products.
Passengers are facing difficulty while travelling, as the transport fares have also been lifted due to an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel.

The Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, strictly ordered to monitor the prices at the bus stations and transport stations.
PM Shehbaz said that the petrol price hike should not affect the passengers and the consumers.
Current price of the petroleum products is as follows:
The new petrol price is Rs399.86 with an increase of Rs6.51.
The diesel price has been set to Rs399.58, with a huge elevation of Rs19.39.
While the Light Speed Diesel stands at Rs156.76 and Kerosine oil at Rs467.48.
