Sources close to Misbah have revealed that Misbah-ul-Haq has resigned from the PCB selection committee. He sent his resignation to the PCB by email. He resigned because he was not consulted about the players who were sent to England to replace the dropped players.
Pakistan is currently going through a disastrous test series with England. After losing the second test match, PCB decided to call back seven players and sent some other players to England in their place. Misbah-ul-Haq, who served on the PCB selection committee, was not consulted in this decision and decided to give resignation.
Sources from PCB have also confirmed that they have received the resignation. Sources are also claiming that Asad Shafiq will also be resigning from the selection committee.

Imam-ul-Haq, who was dropped from the team after the defeat in the Lord’s Test, has returned to Lahore.
According to details, Imam-ul-Haq arrived at Allama Iqbal Airport wearing a mask on his face and quietly left for home.
A flight to Peshawar was scheduled for Muhammad Rizwan along with Imam-ul-Haq.
On the other hand, reports indicate that Salman Ali Agha and Ali Usman have left the team hotel and travelled to another city to stay with their relatives.
Arafat Minhas, who will be included in the team for the Birmingham Test, will join the team today.
