In light of rising petrol prices, Mishi Khan took to Instagram to call out rich and influential figures like Shahid Afridi, saying that the upper class and elites of the country will remain unaffected by the prices no matter how high they reach.
Other Pakistani celebrities have also expressed their disappointment over the significant rise in oil prices.
Notable figures such as Omair Rana, Abu Aleeha, and Khaled Anam are vocalising their opposition to these price increases. Khaled Anam stated, “The phrase ‘Fill karao’ will no longer be applicable for care tanks.”
Omair Rana humorously suggested that the government could have raised the price by 1000 rupees per liter, but they opted for only an increase of 100.
Madiha Rizvi commented that the public will not stand up for their rights, instead, they will only wait in line for petrol.
