Modi hides upon hearing our Field Marshal’s name, Bilawal Bhutto

conflict with India

Sindh: Pakistan Peoples Party’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said the country’s success in the conflict with India represents a victory for the entire nation. He added that India has yet to come to terms with the defeat and claimed that Prime Minister Modi “hides” at the mention of Field Marshal Asim Munir. Since losing the war, Bilawal said, Modi has largely remained absent from global forums.

Parliamentary achievements and provincial rights

Reflecting on legislative matters, Bilawal highlighted Pakistan’s 27th constitutional amendment, approved this year. He emphasised that his party did not recognise controversial reservations during the approval process, safeguarded the NFC Award and ensured the protection of provincial rights. He noted that while provinces have specific responsibilities, the federation’s challenges are also shared by all lawmakers.

Economic challenges weigh heavily on citizens

Turning to the economic situation, Bilawal stressed that the public does not believe the government’s claims of economic improvement. He noted that ordinary citizens struggle under the weight of inflation, with household incomes insufficient to meet daily expenses. He added that every household faces financial strain and urged provinces and the federal government to collaborate to address economic challenges.

Electricity distribution reforms

Bilawal also addressed complaints about electricity distribution companies, stating that provinces should resolve the issues. He suggested transferring responsibility for distribution companies to provincial authorities to improve accountability and service delivery.

Development and healthcare initiatives in Sindh

Highlighting achievements in Sindh, Bhutto Zardari said the provincial government is building 2 million homes and has established an advanced healthcare system. He emphasized that these efforts aim to alleviate economic and social pressures on citizens while ensuring access to essential services.

He highlighted Pakistan’s readiness to defend its sovereignty and reiterated his party’s commitment to protecting the homeland. Zardari noted that while the military could have inflicted greater damage, the army and air force leadership exercised restraint.
His remarks served as a warning to any country that might underestimate Pakistan, reinforcing the nation’s resolve to safeguard its territory and citizens.
