Lahore: PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has given a brief but meaningful statement on the ongoing dispute regarding the Asia Cup 2025 trophy.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi was asked by journalists in Karachi where the Asia Cup 2025 trophy is.
Answering the journalist’s question, he said, “Wherever it is, it is safe.”
It should be noted that the issue of the Asia Cup trophy was not raised in the International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting.
According to sources, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also did not discuss the issue of the Asia Cup trophy in the meeting; the issue of the Asia Cup trophy was not part of the agenda in the ICC board meetings.
On the sidelines, some member countries said that the Asia Cup trophy dispute should be resolved, ACC President Mohsin Naqvi also expressed his willingness to resolve the issue.
According to sources, ICC President Mohsin Naqvi said that he wanted the issue to be resolved amicably. The ICC also offered to help resolve the trophy dispute.
