From fuel-efficient 70cc models to more powerful 125cc bikes, buyers can find reliable choices if they know where to look and what to expect.
70cc motorcycles
The Honda CD 70 continues to be one of the most dependable options in the used market. Models from 2016 to 2018 are commonly available in decent condition for around Rs75,000. The bike is known for excellent fuel efficiency, low maintenance costs and long-term reliability, which makes it a favourite for daily commuting.
If buyers are willing to stretch their budget closer to Rs100,000, newer Honda CD 70 models from 2020 or 2021 can also be found in good condition. While some additional spending may be required to bring it to top condition, it remains a solid choice due to Honda’s build quality and engine reliability.
In the Chinese segment, the United 100 from 2021 is available for roughly Rs80,000. Spare parts are easily available and maintenance is relatively straightforward. The bike also offers a noticeably stronger engine compared to 70cc models.
Another option is the Super Power 100, particularly the 2023 model, which typically costs between Rs85,000 and Rs95,000. While it is not as popular as some other Chinese brands, it stands out due to its unique design.
125cc bikes under Rs100,000
Buyers seeking even more power can consider older 125cc motorcycles. The Honda CG125 from 2009 to 2012 remains a popular choice. A well-maintained 2012 model can cost around Rs95,000. These bikes use non-Euro engines but are still valued for their durability and strong performance.
Chinese 125cc motorcycles offer newer models in the same price range. United 125 bikes from 2019 are listed online for around Rs80,000. For buyers with a slightly higher budget, United 125 models from 2022 are available for close to Rs98,000 and come with a Euro 2 engine, making them a more modern option.
