ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced latest updates for renewal of CNICs online.
As per details, NADRA shared the update on social media advising the citizens to submit their CNIC renewal application instantly through the Pak ID mobile app and receive the updated card at their homes.
Here’s how to renew CNIC online
To renew CNIC online, use the NADRA Pak Identity Mobile App or the NADRA Pak Identity website. The process involves registering or logging into your account, selecting the renewal option, filling out the application, providing fingerprints and a photo, and paying the required fee. The renewed CNIC will then be delivered to your provided address.
Using the Pak Identity Mobile App
- Download and register: Get the Pak ID app and create an account if you don’t have one.
- Start application: Select “Apply ID Card” and choose the renewal option.
- Provide information: Fill in the necessary details and follow the prompts to capture your photo and verify your fingerprints.
- Submit and pay: Submit the application and make the payment through the app to complete the process.
Using the Pak Identity Website
- Visit the website: Go to the Pak Identity website and log in or sign up for an account.
- Start renewal: Click on “My CNIC has Expired” or the equivalent option, then “Start New Application”.
- Fill the form: Complete the online application form with all required information and provide a delivery address.
- Pay the fee: Make the fee payment online.
- Wait for delivery: Your renewed CNIC will be delivered to the address you provided.
