In reply to a notice from the Chairman of the Sindhi Language Authority, NADRA has confirmed that the Sindhi language will be added to the “Pak ID” mobile application.
While appreciating the initiatives of the Sindhi Language Authority, NADRA recognised the historical, constitutional, and cultural importance of the Sindhi language along with other Pakistani languages and committed to adding Sindhi to the “Pak ID App” in stages.
As stated in the letter, NADRA acknowledges that access to information in native languages is important for improving public services.
In this context, multilingual capabilities will be implemented progressively.
In an official notification, NADRA Headquarters confirmed that the integration of the Sindhi language is a component of NADRA’s strategic planning and will be executed to ensure that Sindhi-speaking individuals can also take advantage of NADRA’s online services.
The Chairman of the Authority expressed gratitude to NADRA officials for their positive response.
NADRA announces renovation of Soldier Bazaar centre until 27 May
Earlier, NADRA announced special instructions for residents of Karachi’s Soldier Bazaar.
A public announcement was issued regarding the NADRA Registration Centre located in Soldier Bazaar, Karachi.
According to the notice, expansion and renovation work at the registration centre will continue until 27 May 2026.
Normal services will resume after the completion of construction and repair work. It is expected to be functional to locals on Thursday, 28 May 2026 onwards.
