The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced revised office hours for Ramzan 2026.

Every area’s office will operate with different timings for different types of registration centres.

The new timings, shared in an official post on X, will apply during the holy month to accommodate fasting staff and visitors while keeping essential services open.

Regular registration centres

According to the schedule, NADRA offices operating five days a week (single shift) will open from 8:00am to 2:00pm from Monday to Thursday.

On Fridays, these offices will close earlier at 12:30pm.

For centres working six days a week (single shift), offices will operate from 8:00am to 1:00pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Fridays, they will also close at 12:30pm.

These timings reflect the usual government practice of reducing working hours during Ramzan.

Double-shift centres

Some NADRA centres run in two shifts.

For morning shifts, offices will operate from 8:00am to 12:30pm, Monday to Saturday.

Evening shifts will run from 12:30pm to 5:00pm on Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Fridays, evening hours will be from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

This arrangement is meant to spread out visitor flow and manage demand in busier areas.

Mega Centres, night shift

NADRA Mega Centres will also follow adjusted timings.

Morning shifts at Mega Centres will operate from 8:00am to 12:30pm, seven days a week.

Evening shifts will run from 12:30pm to 5:00pm from Monday to Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. On Fridays, evening hours will begin at 2:00pm and continue until 5:00pm.

Night shifts at selected centres will remain available daily from 9:30pm to 2:30am.

Services to continue

Despite shorter working hours, NADRA says all essential services will remain available.

These include issuance and renewal of Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs), B-Forms, Family Registration Certificates, biometric verification and data correction.

Officials have advised citizens to check the exact timings of their nearest centre before visiting, as schedules may vary depending on location and operational category.

They also warned that earlier closing times could lead to longer queues and quicker exhaustion of daily tokens.

Applicants are encouraged to arrive early and complete their documents in advance.
