The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new application to facilitate people. Through the newly made application, the authority can collect personal information of people living abroad on Pakistani visas.
NADRA has added new features to the Pakistani visa issuance system for 193 countries. Now, only the passport of the foreign citizen will be required to apply online. The applicant will only upload the passport in the application.
NADRA’S new application
Through the new feature, the applicant’s personal information will be added automatically. The new application will also generate a passport number and expiry date automatically. At the same time, the new and modern biometric system for all visa categories has also been introduced.
NADRA’s new B-form registration process
Similarly, NADRA introduced a new process for B-form registration. According to the new process, the child will receive three B-forms at different stages of their early life.
The child will receive a B-form at the time of birth without a picture, and this B-form will be valid for three years.
Second B-Form: Since it is issued after the child attains the age of three and it contains a photograph, it is valid until the child attains the age of 10 years.
Third B-Form: Issued after the child turns 10, with a photograph, iris scan, and fingerprints, valid until the child reaches 18 years of age.
It is pertinent to mention that NADRA directed all parents to register their child within one month of their birth in the nearby union council. The birth registration is necessary to get the first B-form from NADRA.
To renew the B-form, the parents and the child will visit the NADRA office again after around three years.
