WEB DESK: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rasta News Network (RNN) TV Network and journalist Naeem Hanif has publicly apologised to the actress Saba Qamar for passing slanderous statements against her during his podcast on November 1, 2025.
Hanif appeared on a podcast on Tuesday, at RNN Network’s YouTube Channel, where he admitted that a video was uploaded on November 3 on their channel regarding the character assassination of Saba Qamar.
He said that he falsely claimed that she was in a relationship with someone in Lahore. By adding, he said that, “I verified that news later, and it wasn’t correct, and neither was there any truth in it. It was contrary to the truth, which hurt her feelings and stained her character. I am sorry for this and the hurt it caused.”
Responding to the apology, Qamar posted it on her Instagram story by captioning it ‘speechless’.
