Web desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday addressed the National Ulema Convention in Islamabad. He said that Allah has granted Pakistan a “great victory in Marka-e-Haq.”

PM Shehbaz Sharif praises the armed forces of Pakistan for their role in securing the success under the leadership of CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir.
The Prime Minister also said that the nation stood united behind its forces.
He added that innocent Pakistanis continue to be martyred in attacks carried out by the Khawarij.
“The Pakistan Armed Forces, under the command of CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir, have achieved a remarkable victory,” he said.
PM Shahbaz Sharif further said that Pakistan is moving towards rapid development. And the elimination of terrorism is inevitable for the development of the country.
Further, he said that the youth of the security forces are making sacrifices for the country. While stability and unity are necessary for the development of the country.
He said that now the journey of Pakistan’s economic development is about to begin.
He said that Pakistan will repay the debt and create its own wealth.
The Prime Minister said that innocent Pakistanis are being martyred in the attacks of Khawarij.
In such a situation, defending the institutions is the responsibility of everyone, he emphasised.
The PM said that if poisonous propaganda is made against the Pakistani forces, it is the responsibility of the entire nation to defend them.
‘Save every penny’
Addressing the National Ulema Convention in Islamabad, the PM said the country cannot progress without fostering an atmosphere of unity.
He stressed that sectarianism must be eliminated, noting that even today. Some people from certain schools of thought say they cannot pray behind others in certain mosques.
Prime Minister Shehbaz said Pakistan must work tirelessly, “We will have to work hard day and night,” he stated.
He also added that it has to ‘save every penny’ to secure its rightful place in the world. And to fulfil the vision of the nation’s founding leader.
The Chief of Army Staff and the Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and DG ISPR were also present at the convention.
